The 2025 Africa Energy Forum proved that some of the most meaningful progress happens beyond the main stage. Side events hosted by key industry players like ACWA Power, Wärtsilä, CDH, and Cresco created valuable opportunities for deeper dialogue, strategic networking, and the forging of impactful partnerships.

From curated panels to private meetings in hotel restaurants, each interaction played a role in shaping a shared vision for Africa’s energy future. These engagements not only reinforced industry collaboration but also highlighted the depth of commitment across sectors to drive real change.

Reflecting on the week, Vutomi Energy CEO Timothy Simon Whati remarked,

“We won’t solve Africa’s problems without working together in harmony. It’s in these focused side engagements that ideas evolve into action.”

As we move forward, the relationships built and insights shared during these side events will fuel the momentum needed to achieve energy transformation on the continent.
