Vutomi Energy is proud to announce a significant milestone in our commitment to strengthening South Africa’s energy security. We have officially received a permit from the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC) to import natural gas, as well as approval from the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) for import activities. This approval specifically authorizes Vutomi Energy to receive natural gas from Mozambique via the ROMPCO (Republic of Mozambique Pipeline Investment Company) pipeline into Komatipoort, South Africa.

Why This Matters

Natural gas is a vital component of South Africa’s energy transition, offering a cleaner and more efficient alternative to coal-based power generation. This approval ensures a stable and secure supply of gas, supporting industries, businesses, and communities with reliable energy solutions.

Strengthening Regional Energy Partnerships

These approvals highlight Vutomi Energy’s commitment to regulatory compliance, sustainability, and innovation in the energy sector. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to driving impactful solutions that power Africa’s future.
